Through the glass

Photography

Through The Glass represents a close-up look at the untouchable details of classic pinball machines - the near humanity of the construct and the conversation between us. I’ve played a lot of pinball in my life and have always marveled at the creativity, engineering and artistry that goes into these contraptions. Providing joy to millions, the journey that a little silver ball can take is engaging and thrilling, often creating a loss of time and space in the mind of the player. This work pays homage to the dying art of the game of pinball by intimately representing its components as subjects of introspection, attitude and potential.
