2012

I created this body of work for the 2012 February Album Writer's Month competition at fawm.org. The goal was to write, record and produce an entire album in one month. I challenged myself to record vocals for every song, and only use real instruments within my home. No drum machines, synthesizers or manufactured noises. I learned a lot about what I was capable of during the course of this project, basically creating a song every two days for an entire month. Exhausting and infinitely rewarding. Instruments include vocals, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass, drums, piano, accordion, thumb piano, toy piano, ukulele, banjo dulcimer, melodica, harmonica, mouth harp, various percussion, singing bowl and the kitchen sink (literally).
